Standards
By using international standards endorsed for the CGDI, you can share and integrate your data or applications with those from other organizations.
This characteristic offers you two main advantages. First, interoperability will often produce richer and more useful information than a single data set can provide on its own. Consequently, the value of your data or application rises.
And second, you can more easily export your technology, data, and expertise
to other countries that adhere to the same international standards. Greater
export opportunities mean potentially greater revenues.
